BatMon is not a Jamaican man with a bat disguise. It is a graphical battery monitor for Windows-based laptops. There are 26 different images (blue, yellow, or red; anywhere from full to empty) that appear in the system tray depending on how full the battery is. Just one click and you can exit it. Version 1.0.1 reloads itself if Explorer crashes.


Another fairly unfriendly program, MaskMaker was intended mainly for DeProgrammer's older programs, but it still has some uses. It changes white into black and every other color into white and allows you to copy the resultant image to the clipboard.


Not a user-friendly program; it was intended to be used only once. It takes two folders full of bitmap images and combines them all in a third folder as red/cyan 3D stereoscopic anaglyphs.


Creates 32-bit bitmaps with an alpha channel. These bitmaps are unsupported in most programs (including MS Paint), but they were used in both Rotis and Meteroids. DeProgrammer uses Alphamaker every time he changes the graphics for either of those games.


Takes a screenshot of MS Paint every time you let go of the mouse button. (Usually is declared by virus scanners to be a virus)


This is a lightweight and portable color-counting utility designed for pixel artists. It also helps you identify stray pixels--it sorts the palette by number of pixels per color.


Glowem is designed to repeatedly outline (up to 10 times) one specific color within an image. It works well with MaskMaker.


This is a pretty basic PC-based graphing calculator DeProgrammer made before he ever actually had to use a graphing calculator for math class.


Rocket Soldier: Samus was a pretty sweet accomplishment back when I was 14 years old, you know. Up until recently, I had never made a game with even remotely smooth graphics; they all flickered and just looked awful in general up to that point. But then I learned about BitBlt, and after a few test projects with it, I decided to go all-out and make a full-scale game using what I had learned. The result was something I'm still happy with to this day.
